The renovation began as a blank slate: all partitions were torn down and the layout was completely rethought to meet the family's needs. A challenging task, given the unique layout of the space on a chamfer, but the team behind this transformation embraced the uniqueness of the challenge.

The main living room is the epicenter of family life, where the soft light in the center mixes with the natural light that floods the living area, creating a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. Strategically located at the end of the living room, the open kitchen offers a panoramic view of the church across the street, while being kept hidden from everyday clutter thanks to its clever layout.

The entrance, an ingeniously designed distribution area, revolves around a central body covered in wooden slats, which hides the second bathroom and the guest toilet. This layout not only optimises space, but also adds a touch of elegance when welcoming visitors.

The project was complex due to the size of the apartment, the age of the property and client ambitions to achieve a significant change within a controlled budget.

The master suite, a sanctuary for parents, is accessed via a discreet passage from the great room. Designed as a single, versatile space, it can be divided with curtains to create separate, more intimate areas as needed. An adjacent gallery houses a bathtub and generous dressing space, complete with a full-length mirror.

The trencadis flooring pays homage to the region's modernist architecture, while Bauwerk lime paint infuses a sense of warmth and authenticity throughout the space.

This renovated apartment is much more than just a home; It is an expression of style, functionality and family warmth. With a unique combination of innovative design and attention to detail, this space has been transformed into an urban retreat that reflects the very essence of contemporary living.
